Unfinished poems,
what a mess
I’m tired of worrying about making sense
perfection ideal
with no perfect mind
letting them see my work
unpolished and undefined

my only motivation
is that they’ll never see
what a finished poem, looks like from me
I can never finish
I rant and scrabble
too much to say and too much to unravel

but time is ticking
give them something
better a little, then absolutely nothing
so here’s my work
imperfect and incomplete
just like an appetizer,
small in quantity
but just enough to eat.
